GUIDELINES
a) Projects are currently offered to members of Institute of Actuaries of India only.
b) Individual members, member lead groups/ Institutions/ professional groups can express interest to undertake projects and bid for them.
c) Projects might be funded/ non-funded by the Institute, depending on the requirement/s of deliverables.
d) Releasing of fund would be in installments, by evaluating the work done in different stages and fund requirements at each stage.
e) Deliverables are to be offered/ finalized by the parties who bid/ showing interest in the project subjects.
f) A preliminary “expression of interest” would be invited for all projects under Source-1 of the Research framework (Individuals, member lead groups/ organizations) in which the parties should furnish details of deliverables, fund requirements, time lines and other relevant details.
g) The Advisory Group on Research and Publications (AGRP) would evaluate the “expression of interest” and assign the project to the interested party/ ies with appropriate guidelines for execution, draft and final report.
h) The final report would be an intellectual property of the Institute irrespective of the funding/ non-funding requirements.
i) Members who undertake research projects need to sign an agreement in respect of agreed timelines, deliverables, ownership of final report etc.,
