Online Procedure for Purchasing Study Material

Study material payment will be accepted only through online. DD/Cheque will not be accepted. Request you to please go through the following steps carefully;
 

  1. Login to Member’s section of the website by entering your login ID and password. If you have not logged in before then please do it as per the details are available in Annexure I.
  2. If you have not renewed your membership for current year then system will prompt you to pay subscription first before you purchase study material If you have already paid then you can directly go to study material tab. For online subscription payment procedure refer Annexure II. Please note that study material can only be purchased ONLINE by all active members.
  3. After going in study material tab, there would be two links available i.e. Compulsory material and Optional material. Compulsory Material are required to be purchased for appearing in an exam whereas Optional Material are for revision purpose only. Compulsory Material is available in i) Hard copy or ii) Downloadable format whereas Optional material is available only in Hard copy format.
  4. You can select any number of materials which you want to purchase. However, you can only appear for maximum of three subjects in an exam diet. Hard Copy of material will be sent to you in 10 working days by post/courier at communication address selected by you. If you required study material at any other address than you requires to update the same in the alternate option given in your login. Downloadable material will be available in your download section of your login page for period of 90 days from the date of purchase.
  5. Once the payment is successful, you will get study material receipt on your email ID registered in our data base or you can check the receipt in transaction receipt and your study material purchase record will be updated. You will be able to view the updated status on the website in 24 hours time.
  6. In case the transaction fails after the amount is debited to the Credit/Debit card/Bank Account, the amount will be refunded to the Credit/Debit card/Bank Account automatically within 7 working days.
  7. In case you face problem, kindly report as under;

Annexure I
  1. The members in the category of Fellow, Affiliate and Associates can log in by providing their membership number as login id and their date of birth in DDMMYYYY format as password. For example, if your membership number is 289 and date of birth is 6th May, 1980, then your login id will be 289 and password will be 06051980. If any one of you do not remember membership id then please contact Ms.Prajakta Bhosle at actsoc@actuariesindia.org.

  2. The “members only” section as of now contains your Contact and Membership details. When you log in for the first time, the system will prompt you to fill in your contact details and change your password. Please note that this is compulsory and is required to activate your account. Kindly fill in your latest details, as that will go into the data base.

  3. The member information has been categorized in to Editable and Non-Editable sections. The Editable information/data can be modified by you and for any modification of the Non-editable part, application with required evidence has to be made to the IAI.

  4. If you find any discrepancy in the Non-editable section of the website, please bring this to our notice immediately by writing to Ms. Prajakta Bhosle at actsoc@actuariesindia.org. If you do not get a revert to this mail in 7 days, please write to Mr. Gururaj Nayak at gururaj@actuariesindia.org. You can access the members section by clicking on www.actuariesindia.org (top right hand corner of website under tab – Member login).

Annexure II

Request you to please go through the following steps carefully;

  1. You will be able to pay your normal annual subscription online. If you have not paid subscription for 2008-09 or for earlier years, kindly get in touch with Ms. Prajakta Bhosle at actsoc@actuariesindia.org as you will not be able to access members’ login.

  2. A pre-condition to payment of subscription online is that you should have logged in earlier and activated your account by changing the password. In case you have not done it (refer earlier communication) please do so.

  3. After activating your account, when you log in, the system will prompt you to pay Subscription online.

  4. Once the payment is successful, you will get an subscription receipt on your registered email ID or you can view the receipt on transaction tab in your login and your subscription due date will be updated. You will be able to view the updated due date on
    the web in 24 hours time.

  5. In case the payment is failed for some reason, please contact accounts team at ravi@actuariesindia.org for resolving the problem.

  6. In case the transaction fails after the amount is debited to the Credit/Debit card/Bank Account, the amount will be refunded to the Credit/Debit card/Bank Account automatically within 7 working days.

  7. In case the issue is not resolved in 3 working days, kindly intimate the same to Mr.Gururaj Nayak, Head-.Operations.
