It is my pleasure to invite you to Mumbai from 19th to 21st February 2012 to attend the 14th Global Conference of Actuaries (14th GCA), organised by the Institute of Actuaries of India in conjunction with the International Actuarial Association (IAA).
The GCA organised annually since 1999 is a major event attracting stakeholders in the Insurance and Financial sectors including actuaries and non-actuaries, both as speakers and participants.
The 13th GCA in Feb., 2011 was on a different scale as it reached out to a more global audience and attracted global speakers of repute to deliberate on issues that were more global in nature.
The time has come for this to happen as almost all the insurers in India are joint ventures between domestic and global players and there is a strong representation of global players in both the consulting and reinsurance spheres.
The 14th GCA builds further on the theme of globalization in terms of the subjects being debated and the speakers who will participate.

The 14th GCA is once again being held in Mumbai, the vibrant commercial capital of India, now recognised as one of the world's largest and fastest growing economies.
