Students tend to believe that, the number of subjects is the sole criteria for their first job; however companies prefer candidates from their utilisation and output point of view.
Hence it is expected that, in addition to pass in few subjects, a candidate should posses few more important skills which are relevant to the working environment.
This include, soft skills, Communication, proficiency in at least one of the software python, SAS, SPSS, R, Prophet, SQL or any other actuarial software to meet their challenges in the work environment.
